School Restaurant

Our school catering provision is provided by Innovate.

A range of meals and food options are available before school and at break and lunch times, with theme days and 'meal deals' provided throughout the year.  

The school restaurant uses a biometric cashless catering system that makes purchasing food more convenient.  Accounts can be charged online via the Arbor Parent Portal.  Through the Arbor Parent Portal you will be able to see what food/drink purchases your child has made and top up money as necessary.

Drinking Water

It is important that students bring in sufficient water to have during the day. There are water fountains around the school but students can only top-up at break and lunch times, not during lesson time. 

Where will Students Eat?

Students purchasing food from our restaurant can eat there or in the main hall. Students having packed lunches can eat in the hall or outside.  Students are encouraged to wash their hands prior to eating and to dispose of their own food waste carefully to keep zone areas clean and tidy.

Locations to Purchase Food and Drink

Food and drink can be purchased from the restaurant located in the main building or from The Pod which is located on the Betjeman playground.

Food Allergies

It is important to note that, whilst Innovate do not include nuts or peanuts within their recipes and they take all reasonable precautions, they cannot guarantee that there will not be cross contamination of nuts or peanuts on foods in their kitchens.  Some of the restaurant's ingredients contain gluten, dairy, egg and other food allergens.  Due to the cooking environment, there is a risk that traces of these may be in other dishes or food that the restaurant serve.  We understand the dangers to those with severe allergies and advise you to speak to a member of the catering staff who may be able to help the student make an alternative choice.  Innovate will always endeavour to accommodate dietary requirements. No Refund Policy 

Please note that Innovate will not refund any monies from students' catering accounts. Therefore, please ensure that Year 11’s or any leavers spend all monies on their account before they leave.  In some cases, the money can be transferred to a sibling's account if they are attending the school.
